“ Great Sermon! ” This is worth carefull attention and would be a great help to evaluate 'our' own personal evangelistic 'techniques' in the light of the Word of God. It might well help explain why 'our' own personal converts sometimes do not cut the mustard and backslide continually from day one(!?) or saoon fall away completely(?), or worse still- ever living in perpetual sin- yet clinging to some distant past, vain repetition, manufactured sinners prayer (false gospel?), BUT NO REAL saving experience and living reality of Jesus Christ.
Could the serious fault dare I say be that of our own making in a day of easy believism? Consider the consequences of preaching any watered down gospel- another gospel...a terrifying thought for both preacher and hearer so consequently deluded.
It is always wise and good to examine our very own selves first ... II Corinthians 13: 5. Can we 'evangelicals' be so seriously mistaken?
