Please stay after the service today to enjoy a church dinner to celebrate Kyndon Keesee’s 10th birthday. The Lord willing we will observe the Lord’s Table Wednesday night.
Why did the Lord Jesus eat with publicans and sinners? (Matt 9:11) Because that is who He came to save. If you are a sinner, Christ came to save you, for He came “to seek and to save that which was lost” (Luke 19:10).
FAITH

And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. (Luke 17:5).
Our Lord had spoken to His disciples about forgiving those who trespass against them (Luke 17:1-4). They responded by asking Him to increase their faith; thinking that the increase of faith would make it easier to forgive. However, our Lord points out to them and us that it is not the increase of faith that is needed but the exercise of faith that is needed. Let us not be so taken up with the degree of faith but the exercise of faith. Little faith exercised in Christ can overcome great obstacles. “And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you” (Luke 17:6).

My desire is that God will speak to you through the preaching of His Word. It is my desire that everyone hears HIS VOICE, that all present this morning, would be moved by the Gospel to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. I would like to see all "come in the unity of the faith, and o£ the knowledge of the Son of God," that we all might be "vitally joined" to Him and to one another. "Would to God you would bear with me in my folly" (foolishness of preaching). I want you to "win Christ and be found in Him"..."to know Him"...to "attain unto the resurrection of the dead"...to be "apprehended of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 3:9-13). I am glad you are here this morning; that you have come in among us for "we will do thee good." I sincerely desire that you may profit from the Word. So listen carefully! And may God open His Word to you and reveal Christ to you heart.

Grace is a provision for men who are…
So fallen that they cannot lift the axe of justice,
So corrupt that they cannot change their own natures,
So averse to God that they cannot turn to Him,
So blind that they cannot see Him,
So deaf that they cannot hear Him,
So dead that He Himself must open their graves and lift them unto resurrection.
George Sayles Bishop (1836-1914)
All error in theology springs from two sources: Attempts to make Almighty God less than He is, or attempts to make puny man more than he is.
