CALL TO WORSHIP
In myself I have no merit, Nothing good have I to give,
That a holy, just and perfect God could ever let me live:
Sin defiles my best performance, Guilty, vile and ruined I am:
Yet, my heart breaks in repentance: By God's grace I see the Lamb!
See the Lamb of God, our Savior, Bearing all our sin and shame-
By eternal love and favor, Jesus died bearing our blame:
Bruised and wounded and forsaken, As our Substitute He died-
"It is finished!" Sin's forgiven! Justice now is satisfied!
Here's my hope and consolation- Jesus died for sinners' sake:
Trusting Him I have salvation, And the cup of blessing take:
All is well, I cannot doubt it, God, who gave His Son for me,
Rules this world and all things in it For my good eternally.
So I'll trust my God and Savior, Though my joy is mixed with pain:
He is worthy, worthy ever, That in me His peace should reign:
Faith in such a great Redeemer Gives my soul a blessed calm;
Christ is near, He's my Protector, He will keep me from all harm.

THE DOCTRINE OF GRACE
We sovereign gracers frequently refer to the doctrines of grace. Truth be told, the gospel is the doctrine of grace (singular). The doctrine of the gospel is Christ is all. Christ is all of my salvation. Christ is all that I want. Christ is all of my hope. Christ is all of my life. A man can believe what we call the doctrines of grace and still be lost, but no one can believe on Christ, who is the doctrine of scripture, and ever be lost.
Pastor
It is unfortunate that we most often use the word hope to express our desire for something that may or may not happen. The believer’s hope is not a wish or desire for the unknown. It is a joyful and confident expectation in a personal God who has made precious promises to His children. A sure hope is what God given saving faith produces in the heart. The Lord calls it a good HOPE, a lively HOPE, a better HOPE, an anchor for our soul. It is Christ in you, THE HOPE of glory.
Pastor Greg Elmquist.
Rejoice In Thee
Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in Thee? (Psalm 85:6)
When the religious world talks about revival they mean an emotional series of meetings that will win souls and get back-slidden church members to rededicate their lives to an impotent Jesus. But the psalmist prays and asks the Lord; Wilt Thou not revive us again? I believe we desperately need for God to revive us...to stir up our hearts...to awaken us out of our stupor and keep us from just going through the motions when we meet together...to please not let us be mechanical in our services. O God revive us...save us from our presumptions of we must be alright, after all we have the right doctrine, we have a preacher and a good building to meet in, we know we are sinners and Christ is the only Saviour...so we are all fine. Will you please cause our hearts to burn within us over love for our Lord Jesus? Will you please teach us to pray from our hearts? Will you please give us a burden for the word of the Lord? Would you please wean us from the world...from self-seeking…from materialism…wanting to be recognized...and from our vainglory? O Lord revive us—give us the Spirit that quickens us when we meet...that will keep our minds from wandering...and worrying about things that in the end don’t matter. Will you revive us so that our relationship with you and the Son of your love will mean more to us than anything else in this world? Then we will truly rejoice in thee. (Psalm 85:6).
Pastor Don Bell
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:” - Colossians 2:10
There is nothing about me that feels complete. I always feel there is something lacking in my faith, love, repentance, sincerity or anything else. But God’s Word tells me I am complete in Him. Not I will be complete or I am in the process of being made complete, but I am, right now, complete, lacking nothing, completely filled. However complete that Christ is, that is how complete I am; “As He is, so are we in this world” (1 John 4:17). We have this on the authority of God’s Word. We may not feel complete, but we are complete.
