I would like to thank our teachers and those who volunteered to help in our Vacation Bible School this week. It is vital for us to teach the Word to our children. I appreciate how diligently our teachers work at teaching the scriptures. May the Lord be pleased to bless His Word to the hearts of our children. Missionary Daniel Parks will be with us to preach an evening service on Sunday, June 30th. We will be giving a gift to help the work in the Virgin Islands. If you would like to contribute please mark your gift accordingly.
TWO CONSTANT NEEDS
One, I need God to constantly keep me from leaning to my own understanding, from looking to righteousness in me, from trusting holiness in me and from being entangled again in the yoke of bondage, lest I glory in myself. At the same time, I need God to keep making Christ unto me Wisdom, Righteousness, Sanctification and Redemption, that I might glory only in the Lord.

I am glad that God does as He will and that He told me I will.

CHILDLIKE FAITH
“Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.” (Matt. 18:3)
I so enjoy little children. An adult should be mature and unlike little children in most ways. However, God’s children can learn some good lessons in attitude from little children. Little children show utter dependence on mom and dad to take care of them. Little children are confident in their parents’ love for them. They just know their parents will be there for them whenever they need them. Little children love to be with their parents and hate to be separated from them for even a short time. I have often seen a little child become so sad when momma leaves them in the nursery. Then that child is overjoyed to see momma again after just a short separation.
Oh that the Lord would give me childlike faith that would be utterly dependent on the Lord for everything I need spiritually and everything I need physically. Lord give me confidence that the Lord will always do what is right for me. And Lord give me a heartfelt need to be in the worship service where Christ is preached. Make me sad when I have to miss being where Christ is preached. And make me overjoyed to hear the gospel of Christ my Savior every time I hear it.

Lying on someone is never acceptable, lying on God is damming. To say that God loves everyone, when the scripture says God hated Esau is a lie. Telling people that Jesus Christ died to save every one, and yet there are multitudes in hell is a lie. Telling people that their will is free, when the scripture teaches us that man is under bondage to sin and Satan, is a lie. Either tell the truth or shut up. “Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.” (Proverbs 8:6)
Pastor John Chapman
Sunday morning, before we go to hear the Word of God preached...let us not rush into God’s presence careless, reckless, and unprepared, as if it mattered not in what way such work was done. Let us carry with us faith, reverence, and prayer. If these three are our companions, we will hear with profit, and return with praise.
