“ Too bad ”
Looking forward to listening to this message but was kind of disappointed because it ended up just being over an hour argument about predestination. There are enough arguments just within Christianity sects which agree on the overwhelming majority of issues about the doctrine of predestination so when using it against the Mormons who disagree on so many fundamental issues it kind of overcame the entire conversation. Not much came of the multiple other mainstream subjects after quickly in the interview the host became unable to move past that subject.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Excellent sermon! Using Greenwich Village a modern example & putting the listeners in Paul's position of writing a letter to this wayward church really helped bring home this message of God's grace.

His position on evolutionism is vital. Jesus said "Adam and Eve were the beginning." if evolution is true, they are the end of 15 billion years of chance.

Either Adam and Eve were as the Lord himself said, the beginning or they were not.

You believe Christ or you believe man. It really is that simple. Genesis1-2, Exodus 20, and the NT make it clear.

So, his position is vital to Christ's Words. Bad interpretation on Israel is not...

I am glad that preachers are raising important issues. Would you do an radio interview with me sometime? I am on www.blogtalkradio.com/derekdreamer I interviewed yesterday pastor ed watson. The sermon was about:In a radio show with Derek Dreamer, Pastor Ed and Derek talk about the 501c3 issue, the founding of the Nazi's by homosexuals (and the continuance in this country), The exciting end times we are living and the unfolding of Revelation before our very eyes, the blindness of the church, the KJV as God's inspired and preserved Word, The military's training of troops to forcibly take away guns from Americans as a means to disarm us to bring in the New World Order and many other things. http://www.sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.asp?SID=44091419521

....'Arch-Bishop Tutu does the foreword', says it all.

'In the past, Tutu has expressed the opinion that Zionism itself is racist, and complained of “Jewish influence†in the West. He was reported by the Hartford Courant as having said that apartheid is inherent to Judaism, as "proven" by the structure of Jewish service in Jerusalem’s Holy Temple.'

"Our church, Fundamentalist Baptist, pre mil, pre trib, missiomary minded, supports missionaries to Autralia. We have one who has been there for 20 years and has built a church that currently has about 40 members. We recently took another on for support."
My brother in is southern Australia, north of Melbourne. They are IFB, but he hasn't said much about the Reformed influence. But it is a pretty cold country (to the gospel) from what I understand.

Wolf said:
"That al men dead in tresspasses ans sin and are totally depraved of any moral goodness whereby they can save themselves.
Jesus paid the satisfactory justice for sin and meet God's demand for perfect righteousness.
God justifies the sinner on the merits of Christ and his righteousness is imputed on the believing sinner."
And this is what we do door to door. We present the Word of God. The Holy Spirit then leads us to go further, or leave the house. You can tell if they are under conviction and if you need to continue telling them how they need to repent.

I have a question. How man Reformed think God saved them, but they have never repented? False professions happen throughout many circles. I have heard people give their testimony who didn't know when they got saved, but thought they were.

Mike, you are correct. Slavery became AN issue, but wasn't the issue. The textiles of the north needed the south's cotton. So when the south wanted to seceede, the north wasn't going to let that happen since they needed their cheap cotton.

Actually, emancipation was suggested to Lincoln a year before from a senetor from Missouri (if I am not mistaken. If so, I would like to be corrected). Loncoln didn't think it was the right time to propose emancipation.

and about Darwin...who cares.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Great message. This is the type of preaching I have been blessed to hear for many years in Fundamental Baptist churches. I have left many services untterly broken, yet happy for God's constant rebuke and cleansing. If America's pulpits were like this, we would not have half of the problems we are now facing. There was a day when alter calls were given to Christians to repent for going to movies, and those were the ones 50 years ago. Churches practiced church discipline for gossiping. Personal seperation was expected. Can anyone really tell a Christian young lady from the world any more? Or a young man who hasn't pierced and tattoed his body? Oh that all of America's pulpits were like this!

I would like to see a question asking "What is your age". I think it would be interesting to see the average age compared to doctrines held, and if there is any correlation.

"Better get circumcised Derek! (In heart)."

I have been...praise God!

"Where in the Word that there was suppossed to be a ceremony of baby dedication."

In the same place where infants are to be baptized.

And the household was baptized because they would have believed and repented, as did all subjects of baptism in the NT.
"Then God "called" him by name. His sheep recognize Him when He calls them by their name. He who has ears, let him hear! All those who Jesus calls their name, recognize His voice and the respond by calling Him Lord. This is the perfect picture of God's grace in election. One cannot see the kingdom unless one is "Born Again". "

Uh, you forgot verse 6:

Acts 9:6 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

Jesus told Paul who he was because Paul didn't know at first.

Anyway...
