DJC49,It is not unusual for forum users to change their monikers from time to time for reasons known to them. Please respect Casob's right to do so. Thank you. |

Yamil,If you want to discuss unconditional election with "Preacher" please invite him to do so in an appropriate survey by posting a hyperlink. As you well know one of the conditions for opening up all surveys which had previously been closed was staying on topic. Your cooperation would be appreciated. |

I love reasoned discussion, do not mind heated debate - but I object to this vitriolic attack Mr Moderator. Rightly so.. . . Daddy wrote: So it's not a matter of God being paid twice, Mr. Strawman,Thanks for taking the bait. But I must say, your untruth has just been taken to the woodshed. These are the reasons this same post has been deleted three times. It is comments like these which elicit responses such as "Big Daddy", "Daddio" and "Out to the woodshed with you!" from other users who normally do not post such remarks. This is not civil discourse and if it continues the survey will be closed. Will you please just leave out the quips and one-liners which serve no purpose but to irritate your opposition. The balance of your posts are well written and it is a shame to remove good posts for reasons such as these. Thank you. |

As long as you continue to insult other users in complete disregard for the policies your posts will be removed. Clean up your abusive language and all will be well. It's up to you. |

To all forum users,SermonAudio has graciously agreed to unlock all previously locked surveys in an effort to restore topical structure and relevance across all threads. New surveys may be submitted by plus and full members subject to SermonAudio approval. Presently there 167 surveys available for comments (use the "Find" feature, "Surveys" and "Go" to review all surveys). While we understand that a survey may not presently exist for every conceivable topic of discussion we do ask that you be mindful of the survey topic you are commenting in and move your discussion to the most appropriate survey available if your discussion is heading off topic. Surveys that have drifted off topic will be temporarily locked, not to discourage meaningful civil discourse but, as a friendly reminder to get back on topic in an appropriate survey. Thank you for your cooperation as we work through this endeavor. |

Minnow wrote: Moderator Alpha/SermonAudio Hope this proves the point. Yesterday I posted a controversial position on grace, see my post below.(This thread). And it stimulated good debate. Therefore what the "regular contributers" require on the comments board is continued stimulation. Then there is no reason to go "off topic" and stimulation concentrates the mind and you get debate and good behaviour. Bring on more surveys please. Your point is well taken. I'll look into the possibilities over the next couple days and get back to you probably in the "What is your opinion of SermonAudio? Suggestions, questions, comments welcome.." Sticky Forum Group. |

JD wrote: MA, please post a list of words that would not ordinarily be offensive that we cannot use in our comments. I can't do that. The words of phrases which are blocked are blocked to moderators as well. ** Discerning Believer & Minnow, If your post just vanished after you pressed "Submit Comment" the most likely cause is it included a word or phrase which has been permanently blocked. For example a post quoting Hebrews 12:8 will not be accepted. If you have any question what may be causing your posts to be rejected email an exact copy to SermonAudio and ask that the cause of rejection be identified. Thank you. |
