While I agree that death is ultimate victory for a child of God it seems people are downplaying the tragedy in this.
I wonder how many people who say that they are willing to die for Christ would stick to that statement if there was actually a chance that they may be called on to follow through.

Agreed. I’ll keep my view but respect yours. I think that’s a skill a lot of people should learn. I wish more people held either of our views concerning abortion.
Have a great life.

Frank, I would say that regarding the murder they were equally barbaric. Again they are simply being barbaric to more people. Regarding the torture, I think that while there are different ways to be barbaric, there are not different degrees.
Torturing the victims is as barbaric as murdering them. I agree with you as to those who are involved in abortion.

Frank, while I understand what you are saying, and respect your view, I would have to disagree. Have people become desensitized by constant exposure to the fact that we have laws in place that allow the murder of helpless, innocent, souls? Souls which are made in God’s own image? Any such law is the epitome of barbarity. Adding to the crime does not add to the barbarity. It just means that they are being barbaric to more people. Neither law is more barbaric. They are equally sickening.

Question: Why would RCC say that Peter was a pope when the RCC wasnt founded until after peter was dead?

Sorry. Didn’t see that would seem an inconsistency. Yes, all family issues resolved a a while ago. I was returning to SA, and someone started the Billy Hraham argument again. And as I didn’t want to get involved, or sit by while fellow Christians argued, I deleted the app. I figured the argument has been over for a while, and downloaded it again.

In my humble opinion, a Christian website for sermons is not the place to argue and call names etc. So if my temptations to join myself to the frequent contentions here continue, I’ll leave again.
Make sense?

“ Question ”
Earrings in Hebrew language is a face jewel probably worn on forehead. So petty preachers maybe know more Hebrew! Why do women wear make up? To ensnare and cause lust. Jezebel painted her eyes - look at margin. Negatives? Did the Holy Spirit not say Love NOT the world. Is that negative? Why would you want your wife or daughters to be attractive to ungodly men? For men to preach against the evidence of worldliness is not them being chauvinist - just men not under petticoat government!

To those inquiring, I was brought up in a Christian home, but christianity was to me always just our culture. I never had a personal walk with Jesus until I was gloriously saved, in January. Praise His Holy Name!

On a side note, I will be taking a break from SA for personal reasons, but hope to return at some point. Unfortunately, I can’t give details. Prayers appreciated though.
God bless.

Jim L, God forbid I should judge you. Wether you are saved or not is between you and God.
I’ve been frequenting SA since I was saved 2 months ago, and you don’t act like a Christian on here. You are constantly defending anti-christian values like abortion and others like hillary clinton.
Some food for thought before your next post (if you’re truly saved.)

Rom 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

SermonAudio, please explain to us faithful visitors why contentious folks like Jim L. are still allowed to shame Christ on this site? We HONESTLY want to know.

Jim Lincoln,
I dare you to publicly declare yourself to be a born again believer in Jesus Christ, and that you believe your views and actions, especially on this site, are pleasing to Jesus.

Jim Lincoln from Nebraska writes:
Frank and Tim, be honest, you are your Church's comedians aren't you?

Better than you not going to church at all.

BTW,
Jim Lincoln wrote:
“So now the typical Republican Evangelical voter is now corrupting Democrats!
Randall Balmer wrote:

Vulgarity is a sign of strength and resolve...

I thought we were talking about “typical evangelical Republicans”, not you and your personal “morals”.

Close but if you got it exactly right you couldn't post it.

Switch the "l" with the "m" and you've got it.

I know I got it right the first time, and it didn’t post, it just disappeared.

Been truly blessed by the edifying conversation and comments. Much better than the “prickly” (thanks Carol conversations that recently have appeared quite often on SA. Y’all have a blessed night.
