Expert: New York abortion law 'more barbaric than China'
Many Americans have been horrified to learn of the abortion-until-birth law passed last week by lawmakers in New York state.

How, they ask, could such a death agenda have been installed in America?

Now, a longtime opponent of China’s forced-abortion policy says New York’s abortion law is even more barbaric than “that of the Chinese Communist Party.”

Reggie Littlejohn, president of the nonprofit Women’s Rights Without Frontiers, points out that once a woman is in labor in China, the baby cannot be killed. ...

Agreed. I’ll keep my view but respect yours. I think that’s a skill a lot of people should learn. I wish more people held either of our views concerning abortion.
Have a great life.

Well, I rarely go back this far and check my messages, but I am glad I did. I have no problem with your position, but I will keep my own. I think that scripture teaches there are different levels of punishment in hell also sort of proves my point in a round about way?

Thanks for your response. I'm glad we agree on the abortion issue!!!

Frank, I would say that regarding the murder they were equally barbaric. Again they are simply being barbaric to more people. Regarding the torture, I think that while there are different ways to be barbaric, there are not different degrees.
Torturing the victims is as barbaric as murdering them. I agree with you as to those who are involved in abortion.

Frank, while I understand what you are saying, and respect your view, I would have to disagree. Have people become desensitized by constant exposure to the fact that we have laws in place that allow the murder of helpless, innocent, souls? Souls which are made in God’s own image? Any such law is the epitome of barbarity. Adding to the crime does not add to the barbarity. It just means that they are being barbaric to more people. Neither law is more barbaric. They are equally sickening.
Thanks for your kind comment! I also understand your thought and agree that abortion regardless of the circumstances is still murder. What do you think about the below?

There were two serial killers; one murdered and tortured 10 people and the other murdered 3 people. Now would you say that one killer was worse or more barbaric than the other? I use this example to explain my thoughts regarding total depravity.

I personally believe that all who undergo, perform or assist in abortions should be prosecuted for murder.

I didn't read the article.

Well, let me be a little contrary.

In China, they are still practicing what is called “forced abortions”. And from what I have read, when they say forced, they really mean forced. That to me means in China it is likely a genuine Christian would have this forcibly done to them. Now, in the U.S. no Christian woman would be forced to allow her child to be murdered.

So, our murder policy isn’t as barbaric as China’s.
