Watcher wrote: Way to go JMac. That'll show 'em! This folks is precisely NOT how a Christian leader is supposed to act. Jesus commanded us to have church indeed. Have church! Fine! Just have it online or outside. Simple. For what purpose should they have it outdoors or online? With no hospitalizations or deaths at Grace Community, why should anyone conclude it’s dangerous to be indoors there? Oh I forgot, the lack of danger would become evident, and that isn’t in the script. |

John UK wrote: --- Imagine coming home and doing a little tour of churches to let the dear, backslidden folks know how they are faring in foreign parts. Perish the thought! I could not do it. I would rather stay abroad with simple, loving folks, who had been filled with the Spirit and were bearing the fruit of it, and who loved and appreciated me. Just a few facts of life. Staying with the simple loving folks who are filled with the Spirit instead of being missionary to the lands that need the Word? Interesting, bro. As for me, I've wondered for years why there is such emphasis on foreign missions, when there is so much to do here. But maybe this mission field is just too hard? Or is it the romance and intrigue of other places that attract? |

Chrisgp from England wrote: Yes, especially when I have heard that airlines, that apply their own rules when in the air, are completely fascist over mask wearing. Most airlines demand that everyone, with no exceptions allowed at all, over the age of 2 years old, must wear an approved mask (they stipulate very clearly what mask is to be worn, my bandana would not do), at all times without a break (except only when eating or drinking, or asked to do so by a security guard for an identity or security check). --- Well the reason that bandanas are a no-no is they are designed for range dust kicked up on cattle drives. On the other hand the approved masks are designed for woodworking dust. And everyone knows cattle drive dust carries more Covid virus than woodworking dust. See how that works, Chris? |

Jim Lincoln wrote: Chris GP, if people like Trump remain in office there won't be an America! --- It's ok, Jim. While we are still free of Biden and what's her name, we'll still have something of America left. If they do manage to cheat their way into a win, their policies will finish it off, then you can go back to not commenting on sitting presidents. |

Chrisgp from England wrote: It is sad that Mr Lincoln has to put a bit of a dampener on things!! Good verses, but out of context. That is what is needed, a Mayor and a County Conmissioner dedicating their area to the Lord Jesus Christ, and calling for repentance from sin. However, knowing the peculiarities of your US constitution, particularly after some activist Supreme Court justices had their way in the 1960’s, after the campaign by the late non-lamented atheist lady, Madelyn Murray O’Hare, I am sure that sooner or later infamous atheistic organisations like the ACLU and the FFRF will do their usual secularist atheist protest, about “separation of church and state” that isn’t even in the constitution. I just wish we had some politicians like that here in Britain, but unfortunately, as far as I know, we don’t!! Jim likes to quote verses out of thread context. He likes to say things apparently anti-Catholic, but then voices support for Catholic Joe Biden, who wants to kill more babies. Jim, who believes he's Christian, says Christians shouldn't be involved in politics, then spends his days being involved in politics. Jim thinks he's independent, but wants more dependency on government. Jim is playing games. Mostly with himself. |

Jim Lincoln wrote: excerpt from, "John MacArthur Doubles Down on No Pandemic Claim " https://tinyurl.com/y5kn9qxt . Warren correct John on several of his errors in this post. Corrects John on errors? You mean like when he said there's a 99.975% Covid 19 survival rate in California? If he's wrong, what is it then? Be specific. |

Gargano wrote: "What MacArthur seems to be unaware of is that most of those people would be alive today if they had not contracted COVID-19." You can never prove this, and you know it. There is no scientific evidence that if someone died from Covid, they would of survived the flu,or even a common cold. All nursing homes experience death on a weekly basis, that is just the reality from beginning of time, check the stats from 1994, 2005, 2018, old people (the most common group affected by covid) die from all sorts of diseases, strong and weak. In 2020, sinners are coming to grips with death, something in their wealth and prosperity have largely ignored. Now Majority of the world understands, tomorrow is not guaranteed. Everyone knows no one died before Covid19 came along. All would still be alive. Just ask Jim/Lincoln or Creepy Joe Biden. |

John UK wrote: There needs to be complete unity within christendom for any tactic to be effective. If all churches were to follow John MacArthur's example, it would be a force to be reckoned with. But fragmented, as the church usually is, nay. The spirit of fear is great in many churches, sadly. Since the Lord has not given them a spirit of fear, we might guess who it is they listen to most. |

Jim Lincoln wrote: Matthew 6:19-24 19. “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; 21. for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. 22. “The eye is the lamp of the body; so then if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light. 23. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness! 24. “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth. ---- https://tinyurl.com/has82mk (NASB) Great verses, Jim. Too bad they don't apply to the thread, but we understand you post verses to gain creds, that your postings might be believed. It isn't working. |
