One day, Jim, we will not be reading “Removed by Moderator Alpha.” Instead, it will be “Removed by Alpha and Omega.” Then where will you be? “Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” Will you turn, or will you burn?
“If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.” (Ecclesiastes 10:10) Why chop with a dull axe when the old reliable KJB has kept its razor-sharp edge for more than four centuries? When I’m slicing serpents, I want a sword, not a spoon.
Jim, there are Christians, and there are those who are “pro-choice,” but there is no such thing as a pro-choice Christian. You had better wake up before you wake up in hell.
Controversy? Why? Don’t the Dumbocracts know what form of government we have? Now admittedly they want to destroy our form of government and replace it with another form, but even that will not be democracy. It will be tyranny.
Fifty gazillion years ago, there was an extremely dense mass of nothing. Since nothing existed except that ball of nothing, nothing could react with it, but something did anyway and caused it to explode. Huge chunks of nothing scattered all over a universe that didn’t exist and eventually became stars, planets, walruses and chickpeas. That is what most “scientists” believe and that is what they insist is the only explanation for the existence of everything that should be allowed to be taught. (I would give more credence to the ancient theory that the world is supported by elephants standing on the backs of turtles.) I haven’t lost my trust in science. I have as much as I always did, which is practically none.
“The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States." No, she isn’t a Christian, Jim. Neither is Biden. But of course Biden is a Democrat, so it’s not important in his case, right?
Yes, Jim, Hillary is right; BLM really IS a “profoundly theological statement.” It’s a statement that the Bible is not true, that the fundamental principles of Christianity are somehow flawed, that God and Jesus Christ are not only not sufficient, but not even necessary. It’s a statement that truth and justice must never stand in the way of raw power. Above all, it’s a statement that liberals are eagerly anticipating the advent of the Antichrist and would elect Satan as king in a heartbeat if they had the chance.
