Refreshing Gospel Preaching in a Day of Apostasy! (1) Salvation in it's Concentration - it's exclusively in the Lord Jesus Christ. In 1 Cor 15:45 the name "Last Adam" signifies that there's no one after or apart from Christ. Acts 4:12 "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (2) Salvation in it's Foundation - the Blood sacrifice of Christ appointed by God is the only foundation. The Blood of Christ signifies the satisfaction of God's holy and just demands with regards to sin. It is blood that makes atonement for the soul. (3) Salvation in it's Expectation - we shall be Saved from wrath through Him. The final outcome of being justified is being saved from sin's final and eternal destruction. This is where the believer's assurance arises when wrestling with doubts and fears. Christ's risen life is the guarantee of the life of His people! Christ said in John 14:9 "because I live, ye shall live also." Hebrews 7:25 says "Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them." (4) Salvation in it's Jubilation - "And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement." (Romans 5:11)Â Amen!
No hope in the pope! Every Roman Catholic pope, as well as Mother Teresa, and their Roman Catholic followers, are headed for eternal punishment in the Lake of Fire. Before that, the Roman Catholic popes, Mother Teresa, and all of the Roman Catholic followers, will have their sins exposed at the Great White Throne.
Remember Revelation 20:11-15. The Lake of Fire is the final destination for all of the popes.
Great Sermon! Fantastic message about facing God's eternity when our time of departure is at hand. Great words of truth that will encourage the saint and hopefully strike fear into the heart of the unregenerate.
Insightful! According to Ephesians 6:12, we are wrestling against the spiritual works of darkness. However, we, who are with The Lord Jesus Christ, are on the winning side.
Great Sermon! "Sometimes, whenever we're in the midst of a trial - in that fiery furnace being tried and tested we wonder - are we really in the will of God for our lives. Remember, Peter wrote in his first epistle 'Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you'. He is telling us that whenever adversity comes we're not think that it's unusual or out of sorts with the will of God or out of keeping with the Christian life. Rather, we are to expect adversity. And sometimes in trial it can seem that there's no end in sight but ultimately it also will 'come to pass'. Your trial beloved WILL 'come to pass' and until it does the grace of God is sufficient for you! The great apostle Paul was afflicted with a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet him. He sought the Lord 3 times that it would depart from him but the Lord did not promise to take it away - but, He promised that 'My grace is sufficient for thee, for My strength is made perfect in weakness' (2 Cor 12:9). There is no ill that heaven will not (ultimately) rectify!" Psalm 34:19 says "Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all." Job 23:10b says "...when He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold." Amen!
Good sermon. Good message. But dispensationalism is absolutely not Arminianism by any means, it is Calvinistic if anything. It is dispensationalists main point of OSAS of separating Israel and the church!
A Word in Season A helpful Bible message for the new year. The phrase "And it came to pass" occurs 396 times in our Authorized Version. These words speak to us of (1) The Fleeting Nature of History. (2) The Sovereign Nature of Adversity. (3) The Limited Nature of Opportunity. (4) The Solid Nature of Expectancy. (5) The Unfathomable Nature of Eternity.
Insightful! New evangelicalism is just another name for evangelical liberalism. Before the repudiation of separation from apostasy, new evangelicalism begins as a changing mood. This changing mood called new evangelicalism leads to repudiation of separation from apostasy, dialogue with apostasy, positive theology at the expense of the negative warnings of the Bible, exaltation of love and unity at the expense of sound doctrine, pragmatism in the ministry, a desire for respectability in reputation, an attitude of anti-fundamentalism, inconsistency and contradiction, dividing Biblical Truth into categories of importance and non-importance, exalting social and political activity to the same level as the Great Commission (aka the social gospel), and lastly, a mood of softness with a desire for less strict evangelicalism as well as pacificism and neutrality in regards to spiritual warfare.
These factors all start with initiating a compromise.
Insightful! We must be warned that demons assumes many different appearances. These include the benign, ferocious, and even monstrous of them. However, as long as we rely on The Lord Jesus Christ and are empowered by The Holy Spirit, The Lord gives us His Strength to defeat the demonic powers of the occult, paganism, Islam, Buddhism, New Age, Hinduism, Gaia Spirituality, Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy, and even apostate evangelicalism as well as the many other demonically inspired false religions and spirituality presently active in this world.
Of course, The Lord Jesus Christ will dispose of all the demonic and satanic powers in this world, thus restoring peace.
Great Sermon! Another excellent message on biblical separation, which is rare these days. Many choose to embrace and be apathetic rather than call out and separate - this is both dangerous and deadly. Praise the Lord for the remnant who WILL separate, who WILL call out and who WILL seek to honor God.
Great Sermon! Very informative, but even more so, very alarming. I had no clue all of this was going on in the shadows. Alarming to me for all family members who remain deceived in this evil religion, but so very alarming for the panorama of denominations that are kept in the dark and deceived by these goings on. I can attest to the accuracy of all this brother says of the wickedness of the RC having been born into, raised in, practiced it up till I was born again from above. I know that prior to that time I never prayed to Christ, but always to Mary and a few saints. I knelt in front of their statues praying to them not unlike the pagans in the ancient world. Everyone should hear this to be informed. I'm stunned at the number of protestant denominations that are deceived. God have mercy.
Great Sermon! Excellent message, praise be to God for men who preach boldly, fearing God, trembling at His word, and standing against ecumenism.
God's blessings to you Rev. Greer
Love This Sermon! Exhilarating account of the life of Martin Luther and preaching of the thrilling truth which changed not only his life, but also the world!
I love, I love my Master... Thank you Rev. Stewart for such a precious word which draws the soul out to love and cling to a Saviour whose great love, mercy and compassion for guilty souls is a stark contrast to Satan's malice, shrewdness and hatred. Exceedingly precious are those words of Christ; "the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them." In this blessed Saviour our souls find rest, our lives know hope and our hearts rejoice.
Preachers need prayer too May God have pity upon the churches, preachers and people of Columbia, South Carolina.
Hebrews 4:15
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
James 3:11
Doth a fountain send forth at the same time sweet water and bitter?
Matthew 7:16,20
16. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
20. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Luke 6:45
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
Matthew 7:15
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Song of Solomon 5:16
His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.
