“ Great Sermon! ” "Sometimes, whenever we're in the midst of a trial - in that fiery furnace being tried and tested we wonder - are we really in the will of God for our lives. Remember, Peter wrote in his first epistle 'Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you'. He is telling us that whenever adversity comes we're not think that it's unusual or out of sorts with the will of God or out of keeping with the Christian life. Rather, we are to expect adversity. And sometimes in trial it can seem that there's no end in sight but ultimately it also will 'come to pass'. Your trial beloved WILL 'come to pass' and until it does the grace of God is sufficient for you! The great apostle Paul was afflicted with a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet him. He sought the Lord 3 times that it would depart from him but the Lord did not promise to take it away - but, He promised that 'My grace is sufficient for thee, for My strength is made perfect in weakness' (2 Cor 12:9). There is no ill that heaven will not (ultimately) rectify!" Psalm 34:19 says "Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all." Job 23:10b says "...when He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold." Amen!
