Great Sermon! Awesome awesome awesome. You explained Christian Science very well!
I was raised in this false religion. I thank God that I left it at a young age. I have a brother and his wife who still practice it.
It saddens me that I won't see my Dad in Heaven. He refused to seek medical help for the final 5 years of his life, and died at age 57.
I praise God for pastors like you who teach their congregates the truth. Thank you ...
Sincerely, in Christ
Debbie
Great Sermon! An informative sermon, well worth the listen.
The speaker uses scripture as a well read tool that usurps
the authority of Satan's lie!
Thank God for His infallible powerful word.
Astute Teaching and Preaching The fact that the modern practice of tongues is not suited to the mission field summed this subject up perfectly.
many thanks for this edifying sermon and explanation.
Great Sermon! Very , Double Good message ! Pastor Goligher did his homework and brings good historical information to this very good Theological - Christological concept of who Jesus Christ is. This message is good for everyone to listen to. Whether you are talking with "J.W.'s" or other cult members. Perfect to get new converts and people exposed to false teaching ( especially foreign groups with no [ or bad ] doctrinal books.) on The Doctrine of Christ on the straight and narrow Path. The Nicene Creed is a gem often neglected today.
Great Sermon! Father, thank you for your Word, your Spirit, Your Truth. There is a comment below from 2006 "a dedicated mormon", oh how I hope that lady reads this....
you say you would rather spend the time to "love your neighbor". In loving our neighbors, do we not care about their eternal home more than anything? what good is teaching your son to respect women if he loses his soul! if you only heard the message instead of reading the description and closing your eyes.
Lord, please encourage the mormons to listen to this message. If you truly believe what you believe, this message should not shake you. If you are nervous that it will, God bless you!
satan is the great deceiver, who comes to rob, steal and destroy, comes to imitate God, but there is only one God. Hallelujah.
Excellent Sermon! What a beautiful testimony.
Thankyou for sharing your personal encounter with the Lord of Lords.
The amazing and unique ways, in which the Lord works on our individual hearts, is beyond our understanding.
All praise, honour, glory and thanksgiving to our Mighty,Faithful and True, God!
Blessings to you, your family and your ministry Matt Haney.
Excellent Sermon! Thankyou, and God's richest blessings to you for an excellent sermon and testimony, spoken from loving hearts.
My mother and brother have been mormons for about the same 26 years that I have been born again,by the grace of God and His gift of faith.
The mormons no longer knock on my door, as they must consider me to be too apostate. They only ever received the true Gospel from me, as they hoped to deceive me, with the doctrine of men and of devils.
I continue to speak God's truth to my family members however, also have entrusted them into the hands of the Lord.
Only He can save the lost prodigals, and open their eyes to His truth.
Very encouraging and comforting to hear the testimony of a person who can now help others, to know the way of salvation through Jesus Christ, our Lord and our God.Amen.
Hi Pastor Goligher, It is so wonderful to be able to see you on your live webcasts when I am unble to go to the Vancouver BP Church. I praise God for your message of the gospel truth of justification by faith through Christ's righteousness, which God freely gives to His elect by faith alone!
I pray you and your family are doing well. I do miss your grand kids in Victoria. I'll have to go and visit soon.
Christians take heed! Great message that inspires me and encourages me to take responsibility and not be complacent against the devices of the devil. The Word of God warns us not to be ignorant of these spiritual realities. It is written that my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...Hosea 4:6 God bless you Brother Ian! looking forward to your sermon on resisting the devil.
Great Sermon! He mentions Acts 20:7 which I never really noticed before. But if you examine it phrase by phrase you will notice it is no mistake the Holy Spirit has given us this statement. They meet on the first day of the week to break bread, Paul preaches to them until midnight, waiting to depart on his journey until the Day is ended. Awesome testimony from the New Testament to the Christian Lord's Day.
Great Sermon! Satan is not Omnipotent, which this message implies, being as all things that attack Christians comes directly from Satan.
What is missing, of course, is life, reality. In this sermon we are informed to look toward Aatan as the one who ocassionaly tricks us, trips us up. Subtle. What is never mentioned is human failings.
Because human failings are not mentioned, only Satan blamed, we are left not only to blame Satan but not to chastise ourselves, and so we never coming to learn anything by pulling ourselves up, taking personal responsibility for our failings.
There is an unhealthy eulogy of Satan in this message, which leads to a glorifying of him for what he can do.
The minister ends up declaring the sentimental instruction that we, not him, should humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God. We say he does not apply this to himself because as long as he continues to rob God of a title that only belongs to God (Ps.111.9), he remains unhumbled, a thief.
Great Sermon! I enjoyed your sermon on Matt. 25:14-28. I pray more preachers taught these lessons from Scripture. To many so called Christians are in for a rude awakening when Jesus returns.
