Reconsidering Lewis. From the time I wrote my first comment to this message I reconsidered CS Lewis and saw that he was influenced by Liberal teaching, evolutionism, Catholicism, that he was not an evangelical. If you do not want to post my new comment, please delete my former also. Thank you!
Great memories "Christ has done a great thing here." Amen! He surely has! I came to this church in 1995 and was sent from it in 2003. I matured and grown in Harbor. The influence that Harbor church has had will never be known until that final day. There is a sense in which every good thing that happens here in Ohio, happens as the result of Harbor's influence. May God get all the praise and glory!
Two great thoughts among many warnings Assurance is a delicate plant and yes we should cherish it. Sin will kill us if we do not kill it. These are thoughts brought out by Pastor Chanski which are worth thinking on and remembering forever.
No sting in death - wow! Thinking about death in front of us and behind us, I was brought to think about the Israelites with the red sea in front of them and the Egyptians behind it must have been like death all around for them. But God overruled and with the red sea opening up for them, it was like walking right over death.
Great Sermon! Thank you. I have just started to read 'By Faith' by Thomas Manton. Listen to this:
"Grace is but young glory and differs from glory as an infant doth from a man; therefore, by degrees the Lord will have you enter upon your everlasting inheritance." pg9
God Bless

Great Sermon! Thank you for choosing Deitrich Bonhoeffer's life to expound upon. I have been drawn to his writings because of the the similarities between the church of America today and the church of Germany then. The similarities are alarming. Surely, these are the days to fall upon our knees in prayer before the Lord for our nation and for those who profess Christ as their Savior. I look forward to hearing Part 2.
Great Sermon! Thank you for choosing to expound on Dietrich Bonhoeffer's life. I have been drawn to his writings to capture the burden of his heart for the church of that day. The similarities of which so reflect
the church in America today
Footnote to Gilpin's Book The Title lists the previous narration of
Gilpin as covering chapter 8. It should be chapters 8-11 and this narration is chapters 12 through 15. Chapter 15 is titled, Of Satan's keeping all in quiet, which is his second main engine for keeping his possession, and for that purpose of his keeping us from going to the light etc. More of this book will be added to www.puritanaudiobooks.com...
Great Sermon! This is an excellent message dealing with this passage although I prefer the AV rendering is so much better so its a pity it wasn't used i.e. 'The Word of God is Quick and Powerful and sharper than any two edged sword'
Great Sermon! Thankyou for addressing this matter unashamedly. We are battling to preserve Marriage in our United Kingdom parliament just at this time. We have met with apathy and lethargy as we've lobbied churches in east Belfast. The member of parliament there has supported SSM !!! Romans 1 v 16
Great Sermon! Excellent sermon on depression. In the past I struggled with it and praise God He opened my eyes to believe in Jesus. My husband who does not believe is now suffering from depression and I thank God for it because The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Great Sermon! More pastors need to preach this warning. False teachers are good at what they do. The Bible says that.
There is a lady at our church who listens to Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, and Joyce Meyers. She raves about them.
I am going to start praying about how to talk to her about the lies they preach.
