Strong Meat! Brother Henry Mahan starts this powerful sermon by saying that his objective in preaching this sermon is not to ‘please men or tickle their ears’[Gal1:10]. Oh that God would give us more preachers in the land who could really say this and preach likewise.
The God of the true Christian is a God that divides. You can start reading your King James Bible and even before you are through the first four verses you will notice that God is a God that divides [see Gen 1:4]. The Scriptures do not teach the Fatherhood of god and the brotherhood of all men. Christ divides! And almost all the verses that teach this is covered in this sermon.
In this sermon the preacher makes a remarkable statement that men today brag about the Reformers and kill preachers who preach what the Reformers really preached. Our Lord Jesus Christ was despised and rejected of men when He lived, and in His true character, His true attributes and His true redemption He is just as despised today by the natural man!
What caused the hatred towards our Lord? Many ‘believe’ that Christ was hated and despised but they just seem to understand why. Brother Mahan shows very clearly what it was that caused the hatred and challenges the hearer as to what his response would be to such a Jesus and such a teaching.
Great Sermon! This is a MUST hear from Henry Mahan. Its the most graphic and challenging message we have ever heard. It causes you to search your heart diligently to see whether you be in the Faith of God's elect, or just a professor!! Was your repentance truly God-given towards God, or just remorse? Have you truly been given a new heart?
You will not hear such a message from the Pulpit - except by Henry!

Great Sermon! This message is one of the best we have ever heard on Romans 1 v. 16 "I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ.."
It is powerful in itself, truly God-given and will have a great effect upon the believing hearers. Henry Mahan is not afraid to speak out the truth! hear it!
Its great!
Great Sermon! A sobering sermon, both for the saved and for the unsaved, for the Arminian and the lukewarm Calvinist. No funny sermon this. It is sure to get you thinking, whether you are a babe or a father in the Lord. If you aren't saved listen to this sermon and get right with God, if you are already saved make sure you are not neglecting so great a Salvation [Heb 2:3] and work it out with fear and trembling![Philipian 2:12]
Dear Brother Mahan, it is my prayer that God will continue to use your ministry greatly and fullfill your calling. I pray that 'utterance may be granted unto you' that you may continue to open your mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel for which you have been called to be an Ambassador!
Love
Mike!

Great Sermon! This brother preached this in the 60's, and what he said as come to pass, and is still happening---people who call themselves--so called Christians, will not want to hear this--only followers of Jesus as Lord and Savior--wants to know and listen to this.
15 Minutes of Absolute Truth Thank God for the precious truths of this teaching. It is such a blessing
to have Brother Tom as a pastor. He

Excellent message! Pastor Mahan preaches with such a love for the Lord, and for His Word. He speaks in such a way that children can understand, and yet, adults are challenged by what he is saying. He's like Jesus in his teaching.
Thank you Pastor Mahan. I love to listen to you preach. My spirit bears witness with your spirit that the things that you are saying are true. You are blessing to the body of Christ.
