One thing to clarify is that Mt Zion was not the location of the temple, rather Mt Moriah was:
2 Chronicles 3:1 - “Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the LORD had appeared to his father David, at the place that David had prepared on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.”
2 Chronicles 5:2 - “Then Solomon assembled to Jerusalem the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the leaders of the fathers’ households of the sons of Israel, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.”

It is so good to remember former times when God was doing such mighty work; and to hope for the better times that will surely come when the petty tyrants of our day are gone, and the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ!

This is typical Joe Morecraft. He is a tremendous asset and blessing to the Elect of God.
“ Great Sermon! ” Wonderful sermon! Anybody who wants to truly understand Revelation needs to slow down and consider the principles of interpretation at the very beginning of the book. Dr. Morecraft hits the nail right on the head in this sermon. If you want help understanding how to read this great book at the end of the Bible, don't hesitate listening to this excellent sermon.
“ Useful study. ” This was an interesting and useful study. It depicts Calvin as having the heart of a pastor and a fighter for the true Gospel. Praise the Lord: He can touch even the hearts of people of high position in society!

“ Good study. ” This was a good lesson in Church History. It is wonderful to see how God worked in different times. We can also learn lessons from the limitations of people.
