Good Teaching Thankyou John MacArthur! This teaching is so much needed today in your country and in mine and in western nations in general. The simple and powerful fact that homosexuality is sin really needs to be rammed home to our people. BTW You really need to send this tape to President Obama and his party. The fact that they have legislated to send people to hell must be brought home to them. God Bless!
Great Sermon! This so ministered to me. One thing in particular you said answered a question I posed to the Lord right before listening to this. Thank you and thank You, Lord Jesus. Even after all these years I am still in wonder and awe of Who He Is.
Salvation Before Luther? Great message!! Thank you. How do we address the Roman Catholic's concern which Pastor and theology scholar, Alister McGrath, expressed that Luther's Sola Fide is a "theological novum"? That is, how was a Roman Catholic saved before Luther entered the 16th Century theological stage with his Sola Fide? Thank you!
Excellent,Uplifting and Greatly Encouraging! Thank you Pastor John for a very encouraging sermon.
I have listened to part 1 and part 2,
over and over again, so much teaching.
May the Lord God Almighty, bless you now and always and thanks again for the joy and encouragement you have brought me, in the reminding of and revealing of God's Holy Truths.
Praise, honour and glory to the Lord always, amen.
Great Sermon! My appreciation goes to you that what teach is very understandable and valuable. I enjoyed the introduction of what I believe to be your goal of letting God's own Word arm Christians with the tools we need to reach ourselves, as well as others, with the Truth. With that said and sincerely meant, I do, however, have a problem with including the advertising of a product(i.e., your Study Bible) with a message. It just smacks of the typical "ok .. so that's what this is all about - selling a product" mindset of today's world. Is there a way you could just use a subtle "word" or so about the availability of this tool for those interested, without it being a 5 minute "commercial" at the end? I realize, and appreciate, that I am downloading this series this for "free." My concern is for ones who may be listening who are not saved and how it may affect their conclusions and cloud their interest in your series. God bless you, Mr. McArthur, as you continue to present the Word of God; and I hope I didn't offend you with this comment.
Great Sermon! 100,000s of baptized soundly-saved Christians with unbiblical divorce and remarriage, are weekly actively-engaged in adultery yet sit in the pew every Sunday. However, when a "washed, sanctified & justified" and baptized Christian has an unrelenting same-sex attraction, and gives into it from time-to-time (sometimes weekly), is he unsaved? Or may he likewise repent of his sin as do the multitudes of unbiblically remarried heterosexual baptized Christian adulterers who are communing members of churches? Surely there's hope for homosexuals, too.
