Washed in the blood of the Lamb of God. I wish to join the many others here in their celebration of the lifelong suffering of their brothers and sisters in Christ, for having committed that one unforgivable sin - having chosen badly a mate while they were still sinners.
I too feel that the grace of God does not extend to those who have committed that one sin which is above all others, that one sin that is not covered by the grace of God.
For so serious is the sin of having made that particular bad choice when a sinner, that abandoned godly mothers would never know the love of a godly husband, neither her children know the love and godly upbringing of a godly stepfather. Their consolation is that Jesus still loves them, just not as much as other sinners.
Us holier than though types, who know the word of God, but not the spirit of God, know that it is grace for me, not thee.
Praise the Lord.
Spiritual Necessity All Christians. If you are having any confusion with bible study + reading, this is a must listen. Confusion abounds today. Dr. Waite cuts to the chase thru the nonsense. Clear concise. Just straight forward scripture reading with few comments. The 'few' comments are enlightening, to say the least. Understanding our Lord's words should be our first priority. If it is, you will not find a better series.
Wonderful Educational Sermon I have listened to your message and
have found it to be helpful. I will
with the Lord's assistance share the
Scripture references and comments with
my dear friend. I have saved this
sermon and will refer to it when needed.
As you read this note please pray for
me as I seek to clear up doubts about
the PreTrib Rapture in the mind of
my sister in Christ. May the Holy Spirit open her eyes.
Thankyou, Grace.
Great Sermon! Tenderly on target! Brother Waite; much in the character of our Lord Jesus Christ has cut to the chase while unsheathing the "sword of the spirit."
Many a debate has been promted between many groups - all profesing to be Christ's redeemed. But, like Brother Waite noted; God has been seperating since the beginning of time. He "separated the light from the darkness, Caine & Able, Sin & Righteousness, Blessings & Cursings, and so on..."
One thing's for certain. Our Lord has preserved his Word, and He WILL preserve His people as He has promised. Until that time; the battle will continue for true believers to "reprove"(Eph 5:11) the evil deeds of men who are "wolves in sheep's clothing."
The problem is that we become distracted by looking for wolves when we should be looking at the sheep while comparing them always to that "Great Shepherd" which is Christ Jesus, Our Lord who "is the Word" that "never changes."
Great Sermon! I so enjoyed the sermon on our internal enemey. It cleared so many wonderings I had about myself, and struggle to serve God in the Spirit and preach in his power, but yet fall to sin so seemingly easily. God bless and keep you is my prayer.
Great Sermon! A+ Dr waite, you changed me over to the truth, a real win, I did not know for years why the my greek text was off, thank you so much for seting me on the right road. this is great down load
I am going to buy your book.
Great Bible Study! Fellow Sermon Audio listeners, this study is WELL WORTH your time to listen to! It has two purposes: #1, Dr. Waite rebuts an individual's article that has false teaching on the subject of marriage/divorce/remarriage. #2, Dr. Waite, in the midst of rebutting the article, goes into great detail on what the Bible actually teaches on marriage/divorce/remarriage. If you want to clear up a lot of your own misunderstandings on this subject or if you already take the right view on this and want to strengthen your knowledge of what the Scripture teaches on this very important and basic issue in Christianity, please take the time to listen!!!
