Confidence…
Life can be a lot like chasing a butterfly... one wrong move, as slight as it may be, and what we've been chasing, just flies away. It's just the nature of the chase... so many things are always on the move and they stay just out of our reach. But it doesn't have to be that way. The things of this life are fragile, like a butterfly, and when our hope is in them, we're just one wrong move away from chaos and setting ourselves up for a sure fall. But when we're CHASING a Promise Keeper, the One who can't lie or be moved, no matter how bad or good things may be, life is full of joy and rich pleasures. Things are not always beautiful and whimsical in life but there is a lasting beauty that comes with learning how to chase and REST our lives upon His faithfulness and promises. He has promised to be our confidence AND hope, and also provide everything else we'll ever need to love and live for Him and bless the precious people He ushers into our lives. There's nothing wrong with chasing butterflies or other safe things... it's only wrong when that's all we chase and neglect to chase Him who makes and blesses everything that's blessable. What are you chasing, my friends? Butterflies... or the Blesser and Butterfly Maker?
Seek, ask, and keep seeking Him — and He will make His will clear before you. You can know Him and it — and have confidence before His throne to ask Him to fulfill His will in your life.
