"The Blood Applied"
"…These things we write to you that your joy may be full…" 1 John 1:1-4
We take a few minutes and look in the gospel of John, in light of 1 John 1:4, and see how Jesus revealed the truth about His joy and it is applied to and in us.

His satisfying work of grace.
"And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world." 1 John 2:2
What does this mean?
Who needs to be propitiated? God! God's wrath must be satisfied. Our rebellion has provoked and aroused His wrath.
Who provides the propitiation? God! Promises and provided… Grace gave us His Son
Who is the propitiation? God! Jesus satisfied the wrath and justice of God.
God satisfying God… God propitiates God.

God has only one family — a blood-bought family — that has been delivered out of the world and delivered to testify before the world. His faith family knows their Father, Redeemer, and their brethren.

GRACE! I define grace like this: "God cheerful |
