"That Your Joy May Be Full"
Who wouldn't want this?
The right kind of way…
Let's talk about it.
"These things we write to you that your joy may be what?" Full! 1 John 1:1-4
"In that revelation, I see how it's impossible to have — the truest sense of the fullness of joy — without walking, as a way of life, in intimacy or fellowship, in the revelation that God revealed to His servants, who penned what we have as the Newer Testament. We need His Spirit and His Word at work in us to celebrate life and grace in Christ. And we cannot walk in that fullness of joy without being in fellowship with Jesus, the Father, and them. Now you can't fellowship with them today, they're no longer here. But you see, God left a message or record, that's right, a witness of His word, so to fellowship with them, we must fellowship with them through the message, they left us about Him. And when we fellowship with them through the message concerning Jesus, our fellowship is with the One who gave them the message and put eternal life in them. Therefore, to walk in the fullness of joy of the things that God has given us. I have to, I have to spend time knowing what God's message is that He gave His people. It's impossible to walk in fellowship with God apart from this revelation right here. And that's exactly what he's saying. These things, we write to you that your joy may be full so that your fellowship is with us. And our fellowship is truly with them, the Father and the Son, and therefore for you to have fellowship with us and him. You have to, you have to believe what we wrote. You have to trust it. You have to trust Him who we have seen, we have handled, we heard, and we have walked with. |
