The advantage of the Jews began with their being given the Word of God, the 39 books of the Old Testament. They were to know what the revelation given them by God and believe it as they lived by it. Their failure to believe it nationally or to keep it perfectly individually does not cancel out the promises of God. God remains faithful to His promises and His word as unchanging as He is, remains truth. It, as He, will prevail with the blessings promised being given as well as the judgments He forewarned about.
