There is an overarching theme for this series that I have entitled 'Knowing Jesus'. I could have titled it 'Beholding His Glory' but I wanted it to be more personal because this Gospel is personal. The incarnation is the expression of God's desire to have a relationship with humanity. It is also a supreme example of what we ought to be. We are called to lay aside our comfort, our aspirations and even our lives to go to people and show them the love of God and Christ.
