Good Intentions — Without God — Are Godless Intentions
Good intentions. We all have them. But even the best intentions, if not submitted to the Lord, can become distractions, deceptions, or even detours from His will. Sincerity is not the same as obedience. And noble motives are not a substitute for divine direction.
Consider it:
Sincere people often carry good intentions. But if those intentions are not led by the Lord and nourished by His Word, they hold no eternal value. In fact, they can unknowingly lead others to live and make decisions without ever pausing to hear from God. No matter how noble or well-meaning they seem, good intentions that are not rooted in truth are still lies.
We must not allow our own reasoning to become the justification for saying, "We said…" when we should be saying, "God said…" Good intentions are never a valid substitute for seeking, trusting, and obeying the Lord.
When Our Wisdom Lacks

Let's talk about a dangerous trade-off: when we exchange "God said…" for "I said…".
