Critical principles for reading the bible and understanding what God has revealed include recognizing that additional revelation from God did not change previous revelation. Rather, the new revelation served to add to and/or clarify the previous. Also the practice of using the New Testament revelation to reinterpret the Old Testament is a misunderstanding of the New Testament revelation and leads to wrong conclusions of what God has said.
A discussion of the differing views of the millennial kingdom as prophesied in the Scriptures makes the case in point of the need to rightly divide the Word of God. Differing views of the kingdom are arrived at by beginning with a different regard for the Scriptures and differing methods of their interpretation. Differing views result in differing perspectives on the world around us and differing practices in regard to social issues, morality, and responsibility to human government.
When the truth is blurred or distorted then what is reality in our world and its destiny is confused leading to vain pursuits and lifestyles.
The believer must come back to the Word of God to understand what is ultimately going on in the world around them and what God's plan for His creation is.

Re interpretation?? Good message but a little misleading brother Amillenianism does not teach that the NT re interprets the OT they believe that the NT interprets the OT in the light of Christ s coming they are able to interpret the OT in the light of the revelation that Christ brought, they dont teach that the church and Israel are one and the same but that all believers are one people of God, and as for the deception of the pre trib rapture, anyone who knows the bile cannot interpret all of it either one way or another, the bible is different types of literature and each type has to be interpreted in a different way, you are not presenting the 3 different interpretations in a fair way, you inject your opinion immediately “i disagree strongly with this view”you add, why not present the 3views and encourage listeners to go study for themselves? Incidentally the word “thousand” is not only found in Revelation 20, it is used several times throughout the bible and ALWAYS is used in a non literal way,
