You should remind yourself and others that Jesus Christ is a gentle Savior and Lord toward all His people. When we come to Christ for help in regard to the wanderings of our heart, He does not excuse our sins, but rather He will teach us and instruct us, as a believer in Him, in the way that we should go. He will guide us with His eye upon us. It is the eyes of Christ that we want to look into, and study carefully, this afternoon.
