Great Sermon! I am an elderly ill and disabled christian lady, together with my dear husband, who is also my carer, and we live in southern England.
This night I have just found your church and your excellent preaching on 1 John 1 5-7 and have been greatly blessed. I now long to hear more and also to get my husband to listen in.
I am sure the Lord has led me to you.
Love in Christ, Rose Fenton
Great Sermon! Thank you for the post. For more on John Wesley. I would like to invite you to the website for the book series, The Asbury Triptych Series. The trilogy based on the life of Francis Asbury opens with the book, Black Country. The opening novel in this three-book series details the amazing movement of John Wesley and George Whitefield in England and Ireland. The book richly brings to life the life-changing effects on a Great Britain steeped in addiction to gin and illiteracy. Black Country also details the Wesleyan movement's effect on the future leader of Christianity in the American colonies, Francis Asbury. The website for the book series is www.francisasburytriptych.com. Again, thank you, for the post.
Great Sermon! Pastor, I truly enjoyed this sermon. I missed it during our vacation and listened to it today. Great reminder of God's GOOD order in my life - both at home and at church.
Excellent Series! Thank you so much for biblically laying out the truth. I grew up with dispensational preaching, but it never confirmed in my spirit. I have done a lot of study of puritan writers and the reformers and have been set free. Every person must lay down their pride in race, heritage etc. counting it as dung, as Paul did) and humbly in repentance come to Jesus Christ alone.
Great Sermon! After having yet another job interview end in not being offered a job I have been battling despair and discouragement.
This sermon helped me to focus again on God's sovereignty and control and realize that He is managing the affairs of all.
