God tells us that Satan is filled to overflowing with wisdom, and he has great beauty. With that said, it stands to reason that Judas would be the human equivalent: very smart and beautiful.
Satan can also lie. Can he lie to God? Well, no. So, who does he lie to? People, yes, but what about Angels? And another thing... Satan knew that God would not annihilate him at the first lie. But why didn't God at least stop him? Why doesn't God stop us?
There is only one truth – one God – one path – one Savior. God Is One.
Satan has plotted and schemed against us for some time now. But let's look back to some examples in the Old Testament. Case in point; would he know that killing Gibeonites would cause a plague? And would he also know that if David counted the people without the atonement money (silver), there would be a famine?
Here are 5 bold lies of Satan:
God Is Afraid of Sin. (Which means He is not omnipotent) God Is Not Omnipresent. God Can Be Killed. Jesus Christ is God, and if He can be killed, then... God Lies God Is Not Just – He's not fair – He will not judge. (And if He does not judge, He cannot return)
The notes written above are an adaptation of some things I jotted down as I listened to pastor Chronister, before we were able to persuade him to put his lectures online. Looking back, I believe that this Genesis Series is his best work. It's available to buy, but I believe it should be available to you, here on Sermon Audio, as well.
Thanks for listening. And know that we are a ministry that could use your help if you are able and so inclined.
May God richly bless you and yours with wisdom and grace, Your Friendly Internet Supper Dave
