According to the Word of God the church is the family of God. The true church is where the truth of God is to be proclaimed, practiced, and error refuted. The authority of the Word of God , what must be believed to be saved, what is saving faith and the object of saving faith are but a few of the foundational matters that are unchangeable and distinctive of the church of God. God has never turned over to the church or to men in the church the authority to determine truth and righteousness. God is immutable and cannot lie. Therefore everything He has said is truth and everything anyone says, writes, proclaims or promotes that is different or contradicts what God has said are being used by Satan to promote his lies. Lies taught and promoted from the pulpit lead the hearers astray or serve to keep them religiously content on the broad road to eternal damnation and separation from God in hell. Deadly deceptions lead to deadly destruction from which there is no recovery or rescue other than the true Gospel of Jesus Christ.
