The Church has a unique purpose in God's eternal plan for the earth. The Church, as detailed in the Word of God, must be committed to and conformed by the Word of God in accomplishing the purposes for which it has been called out. These divine purposes and plans give believers, individually and corporately great privilege with responsibilities. The ultimate motive and purpose for the Church in all that is done is for God's glory as carried forward according to His good pleasure. He has provided His power for His will to be done, His Word to know what that will is, and His Son as Head of the Church. Members serve being uniquely gifted so that the lifesaving message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is proclaimed clearly and truthfully by those who have believed. While serving and proclaiming each individual grows in spiritual maturity as the Word is taught, learned, and obeyed. As individuals mature the Body of Christ is likewise strengthened and growing, all according to God's plan.
