About two hours ago, my landlord came by to talk to me about our contract. It expires on October 14th. He wants to increase our rent from $660 to $1500. We were expecting an increase of about $100, not $840. Supposedly, the landlord has someone ready to move in and start renting for $1500. Of course we cannot pay this amount, so we are asking God for direction about what to do.
