A quick update. Liz had a rough day and night yesterday, with shaking chills and fever at 4 pm and about 1:30 A.M. She was some better with Kim's arrival, as well as the availability of phenergan for nausea. At 1:30 I thought about adding cipro, and checked with the internet for interactions and started it.

Today she has been much much better. She still has some pain on the right side, probably from a stone, but no more shaking chills and fever. I spoke to the urologist tonight after his return. We will do lab tests in the morning, check on the cultures to see about what antibiotics to continue, and do an echo and probably CT scan (yes, we do have one in Suriname). Then the urologist will decide what to do. If there is still obstruction, of course that will need to be eliminated one way or another.

So we covet your prayers. Thank you for the prayers thus far! Thanks for the many notes assuring prayer. They were mixed with prayers from all four churches today, and God is answering. It seems that our church has been facing some major tests - hopefully to spur us on to unity of purpose, and that God has plans for the church in the future. Pray for a total solution now, please.
