SIGNS OF TRUE CONVERSION

Satans main weapon to prevent conversions is ultimate deceipt. He convinces people that they are already converted, hence they have no hope of conversion if they already think they are Christians, what a delusion yet it is so true. Even for many church going people, so lets ask 'Are we truly converted?'

1. Do we hate sin and passionatly desire to know God more and more each hour and live accordingly? Question: Surely what matters is a new relationship with God, if thats done we are converted? Don't be deceived it's your relationship with sin that must be changed first, do you hate what God hates and love what God loves in actions?

2. The Bible calls this being 'born again'. All of God's grace, through the Holy Spirit and the Word. Becoming a new creature, all things are new, says the New Testament. Have we seen this radical change in our lives?

3. Is there a continual growing in grace, in holiness and obediance to Gods word in our lives over a period of time since our conversion. Have we known Gods fatherly correction if we have gone astray (Hebrews chp 12 v 6 - For Whom the Lord loveth, He chasteneth and scourgeth every son whom He receiveth, v 8 But if you be without chastisement... you are not sons ) If not we are not His children, all who are His are corrected. God always finishes a good work he starts in a soul, though it may take much chastisement. It's not signing a card of confession that saves us but being made anew by Gods sovereign grace.
