And He said to them all, "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. (Luke 9:23,24)

Christ on the Cross bleeding in agony, a cruel death for sinners found guilty in those days, though in this case we were the sinners, in our place condemned He stood. But what's our Cross? If we don't take it up daily, Christ says we are not His disciples. If we try to save our life (live for this world) we will lose it, on judgement day we will find ourselves in hell. The Cross taken up daily is denying self of the things of this world, resisting the flesh, evil desires and the devil. It's crucifying self will and self seeking through the Cross. Through Christs' death then, we die to the things of this world gladly, the world would call this losing our life, we lose our life for His sake. Giving all to Him who loved us and gave Himself (The Cross) for us. Remember The Cross daily, carry it wherever you go, by Gods grace.
