The Lord has given us yet another safe and prosperous week and we can not help but praise Him for His mercy and goodness. We had an especially exciting and encouraging service this morning with one person accepting Christ and a few others making good decisions. The young lady that received Christ is the niece of one of the church members. She is living with her aunt as she attends the university and has been faithful to almost every service since coming to the city. Praise the Lord that through His word and by the Holy Spirit conviction, sinners turn to Christ!

The Holy Spirit also dealt with another man in the service, not about salvation but about spiritual growth. He had gotten saved at another church in the area but has not grown spiritually, and he knew it. After the service he made some good decisions and I pray that he sticks to them.

Along with those two, another young lady was dealt with after the service concerning salvation but has yet to take that step of faith.

There are some other encouraging things that happened this week as well. 15 adults were in the midweek service this past Thursday night and 20 adults were in this mornings service. Along with that two teenagers from Saturdays youth activity came today and one of them brought a friend.
