Okay, this is what it is with us here in Germany at this time. We have invitations to serve at three churches here in Germany, and one in Naples, Italy. To be honest with you, Naples is my last choice personally, but the way The Lord has always worked with me is that He has always had me go to my last choice, or to where I absolutely didn't want to go -and I always ended up loving serving Him there.

I've received several correspondences from the Bible Baptist Church in Naples, and feel that Linda and I must go there to check it out. Here is part of one letter "verbatim" I received from an older gentleman in that church. The young families in the church here really need some leadership. I think they were stranded by the former pastor. There is a need for a church here for the military. If someone does not come soon there will be no one left here... Like Paul's call from Macedonia, come help us if you can.

Help is on the way! Linda and I will leave tomorrow morning, (Thursday the 17th of September) and make the 1335 kilometer drive from here in Herrieden, through Austria, and the Alps, and on down thru Italy to Naples on the southwest coast of Italy. We expect to be there for about four or five weeks initially. If it's the Lord's will, making it absolutely obvious to us that we are to go and pastor that church, we'll make plans toward that end later.

Linda and I had previously made plans, reservations, and tickets for a three month furlough beginning on 9 November. The Lord willing, that will still happen, although the time may have to be truncated.

What I need from all of you, our Supporters, our Prayer Partners, and our friends is prayers for our safety, that we will be able to help those dear folks in Naples, and He will close the doors where He doesn't want us to go. We need prayers for The Lord to burst the doors wide open in the direction He wants us to go; we need His guidance, and "hands on" concerning the whole process.

So, I am asking for your help with this. If we must make the move to Naples, it will be a big process (but at lest it's warmer there).
