Some folks, and churches have been asking for a current picture of us. You'll notice a rather new addition to my face. That's since August when I was in an accident and broke my jaw and skull, and tried to rearrange my face. Trust me it looks better with the beard! After almost sixty years I've changed my appearance; Linda likes it and that's what counts. I liked the old way better, but circumstances have changed that. Here's the pic; Linda looks great!

My right shoulder continues to improve - slowly, ever so slowly - as I'm exercising with a little hand bar bell type weight. I can get about 2 lbs over my head, but can't actually put any of the weights on the bar yet. I can do just the bar. It will come! My goal is to be able to do 20 pull-ups again. Hey, I couldn't even get my right hand up far enough to comb my hair, but I do it fairly easily now.

We had a great day in church yesterday. I preached the two morning services, and for the evening service we had a special showing of the movie Fireproof, which is about fireproofing/saving marriages with Christian principles. We, the church, will also be having a public showing of the flick on Friday the 27th of March.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, the 10th of March 09, I have to make a three hour trip over to Frankfurt, Germany for a VA doctor appointment concerning Agent Orange, and PTSD (Vietnam War related) difficulties. I'm definitely not looking forward to that; the weather is really nasty here right now.
