Where God begins His gracious work
That work He will complete
For ‘round the objects of His love
All power and mercy meet. (Repeat)
Man may repent him of his work
And fail in his intent
God is above the power of change
And never can repent. (Repent)
Each object of His love is sure
To reach the heavenly goal
For neither sin nor Satan can
Destroy the blood-washed soul. (Repeat)
The precious blood of God's dear Son
Shall ne'er be shed in vain
The soul on Christ believing must
With Christ forever reign. (Repeat)
(Tune: "Majestic Sweetness" ")
Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Kynslee Keesee January 17th

When it is all finished - when every one who ever shall be called, has been called - when every one of the Lord's elect has been regenerated, justified, sanctified, and glorified - when the whole of the blood-washed family of God shall surround the throne above, all the glory shall be given to the Lord alone. There will be no jarring note in heaven, no whisper of human merit, no claim of a reward for good intentions; but every crown shall be cast at Jesus' feet, and every voice shall join in the ascription, "Not unto us, not unto us, but unto Thy name be all the glory of the salvation which thou hast wrought out for us from first to last." - C. H. Spurgeon
Noah Found Grace In The Eyes Of The Lord."
Genesis 6:8
Noah had many brothers and sisters, however, it is written, " Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord." God saves whom he will and passes by whom He will and is just in doing so. Salvation is not by family inheritance but by grace. There was nothing about Noah that was more commendable than the rest of his brothers and sisters; Noah's salvation was all of grace. Noah was chosen by Grace, called by grace, justified by grace, made righteous by grace and kept by the grace of God through faith; by grace Noah believed God. Every thing concerning Noah was owed to the grace of God. The same is said of all whom God saves in Christ. "O to grace how great a debtor I am daily constrained to be..."
By the light of nature we see God as a God above us; by the light of the law we see Him as a God against us; but by the light of the Gospel we see Him as Emmanuel, God with us. - Matthew Henry
COMMITMENT AND CONFESSION
"Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on Him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God." - John 12: 42-43 The kind of faith these people had was the precise same faith that devils have. "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble" (James 2:19). This kind of faith is giving assent to the same facts, but nothing more. There are two things that are always involved in saving faith: Commitment and Confession.
In saving faith, I commit the salvation of my soul entirely to Him. All of my eggs are in one basket. If who He is and what He did is not enough to save me, I will not be saved. A belief in salvation by works in any way or to any degree is a failure to commit my salvation to Him. In saving faith, there is always confession. "With the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:10). What does it mean to confess? The word means to speak the same thing. It means to admit to guilt. It means to declare publicly....when I confess Christ I agree with all of God's children. I confess my faith even if I will suffer the consequences of being guilty of believing. And I do so publicly...before men (Matthew 10:32-33). How do I confess Christ? In three ways - (1) By Believers Baptism (Mark 1:5). (2) By identification with His church (Hebrews 10:23-25). (3) By my life (Titus 1:16). In saving faith there is always a commitment and a confession. Pastor Todd Nibert
