Thought For The Week:

"God was manifested in the flesh, justified by the Spirit, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up in glory." 1 Tim 3:16

Prayer For The Church:

Thank God for the gift of Luke James to Vanessa (nee Higgins) and Peter Wigley.
Pray for Mona as she seeks employment.
Pray that the children and teachers from Bedonwell Junior may enjoy their trip to the church here tomorrow and be kept safe on their journey. Pray that Ralph may feel fit enough to lead as he has been off school for a week unwell.
Pray that the Lord will aid the delivery of the calendars on Saturday.
Please pray that through God's grace the weekly prayer meeting will increasingly become the powerhouse of the week's ministry, and that we will retain a vision of what God is able to do.

Prayer For The Local Area

Kensington is the church on the Prayer Link for the coming week.

The church correspondent write: ‘By God's grace, for His glory and our good, we continue to 1) grow closer to God through worship; 2) stronger with each other through ministry; 3) broader with converts through evangelism; 4) warmer with each other through fellowship; 5) deeper in truth through edification.'

Prayer For The Wider Area:

Violence in Uttar Pradesh looking more and more like Orissa

In a swell of violence in Uttar Pradesh, India last week, a Hindu extremist group physically forced a Christian church led by a Gospel for Asia missionary to shut down. The group plans to build a Hindu temple in place of the church.
The extremist group plans not only to advocate their religion, but to force people to it at all costs. According to a Gospel for Asia report, the group's leader is dedicated to both physically and mentally torturing Christians until they deny Christ and convert with reverence to Hinduism.

Radicals have recruited several Dalits, or untouchables, to attack and kill Christians. Within the Hindu caste system, Dalits cannot associate with members of other castes. The group has intentionally drafted young Dalit boys who are easily impressionable and able to be enticed by offers of acceptance.

The violence in Uttar Pradesh is slowly rising to levels of horror seen usually just in Orissa. Many Christians who were never Hindus to begin with have been physically forced into the religion by anti-Christian radicals. Hundreds of thousands of believers are left hiding in the jungle, barely hanging on to their lives.

Japanese Evangelism spreads

About 80 Japanese pastors met for encouragement, training and fellowship this month in an Asian Access hosted forum.
The gathered pastors were all graduates of the Asian Access pastor training program, The seminar was filled with encouraging stories, including that of one pastor who has baptised over 70 people in the last two years.

"It's phenomenal numbers for Japan," says Asian Access' Chief Executive Officer Joe Handley. Handley explains that Japan has never been easy to reach. In the past it has been called the "missionaries' graveyard" after multiple missionaries would go, get discouraged and leave. This spiritual aridness has led to great excitement when sparks of interest are discovered.

I like this post. It looks helpful about
this blog is very hopeful I visit this blog
first time and inspire by this well done
work. Mind blowing post keeps up move such
huge data. What's more, it is more
supportive to everyone. You can make use of
this why dissertations getting tougher
organization for any sort of school written
work. You have worked hard on your research
and would like to write an excellent
dissertation. You have all the research
materials and your data is perfect, but now
you have to put everything together for the
dissertation. If you employ a writing service
for doctoral proposals and make a decent
proposal, chances are you will get all the
chapters you need without making any
adjustments. But it won't be perfect, so
you'll have to order a dissertation or
literary review from a professional writer.
