We are praising God for the great miracle we wave been praying for the last two years. Thanks to the sacrifices of supporting churches, we are continuing the construction of the Christian Education building as $29,000 came in this last month! Construction has started on the roof and we are on target to have the building finished by this fall with an open house for the Christian school planned on July 28.
We have enough to finish the roof, put in the electricity, set up the drywall divisions for the rooms, and put in doors and windows. Please pray for the following needs that are still pending: $6,665 for material and labor to tile 2,800 sq. ft. of flooring, $2,950 to plaster the ceiling and walls, and $1,900 for paint.
Please pray for our Spring Campaign that began on Sunday. We had 66, with all our families there but two, and a few individuals missing. A woman brought by one of our ladies was saved. Her name is Angela. We have three more Sundays of the campaign followed by our Kid's Day. I am praying for 150.
I have a new opportunity to reach another military family. One of our military women, Janet, told me of her friend, Roxanna, a Christian who is interested in coming to church and does not attend anywhere.
We had a good conversation with Roxanna on Saturday and her son is very interesting in coming to church as well. Pray for her husband Humberto. He was very friendly, but had to leave for a class. Pray for his salvation as Roxanna is saved as well as Humberto's parents and siblings. Humberto is a major in the Air Force and a pilot. He is part of one of Mexican President Fox's two flight teams that fly him around the nation and world.
I am also praying for three unsaved young people whose mother is a Christian nurse and major in the Army. Please pray that Daniel, Susy, and Saul come to church this Sunday.
Pray also for Angel, a Christian soldier studying at the Army's engineering school whom I met passing out tracts in front of the Army base about a month ago. He came to church once and hasn't come since. I went to his apartment and found out that he was living with an Army nurse, Guadalupe, who just graduated from nursing school.
He had many questions and was confused about apostles and prophets today and tongues as that is the type of churches he has attended and did not agree with the music of those churches as, although they admittedly appealed to his flesh, he did not think it was worthy to be used in the worship of God. I believe that working with him and his girlfriend, we can see them grow out of their worldliness and into obedience to God's Word.
Thank you for your continued prayers, Clint Rardin
