We would appreciate your prayers for us at this time. God has been good to us, and we have seen some fruit here, and lately have seen good fruit in some people's lives. However, God has really laid two things on my heart lately. One is my own need for revival, and two is the lack of fruit in our ministry here. We just last week we sang for the first time in our church the song "There Shall Be Showers of Blessing". The song expresses our situation here. We have had "mercy drops", but God has placed a dissatisfaction with "drops" and a longing for "showers" in my heart. The young woman, Eebee, that we hired as a church secretary, picks the songs for our services and new songs, and she didn't realize it, or even understand what the song is all about, but the timing for picking that song to learn was, I think, divinely directed. I have been able to explain the idea of revival to our people, (unfortunately the translation of the song doesn't preserve some key ideas) and to listen to them pray, some of them seem to have a pretty good grasp of what I have a burden to ask God for. God has been giving me some real encouragement from the Bible to go on in faith to seek an anointing of power for this ministry. So it is a time of searching self for sin and praying much for that blessing.
