This weekend was a different weekend, having some disappointments on the one hand, but some real blessings on the other. Our attendance was down both Thursday and Sunday. It is good to see people come, but most so easily fail to consistently follow God, and it is disappointing to us. On the other hand, our Sunday evening attendance was a couple more than our morning attendance, which is very unsual. We baptized four people on Sunday afternoon, then had our church evening service and a meeting in which we received four people into membership. There is one more that desires to become a member, but there were one or two things that were unresolved so he had to wait. He is coming from another church.

We started our second Bible club last Saturday. Becky and Eebee are now doing one at our church building in the morning, and one in a big tent about 6 or 7 miles from there in the afternoon. Several people come to church from that place. It is a "ger district" on the northwest edge of town. A few young people and I go and set up the tent beforehand. Praise the Lord, Saturday was a nice day, then Sunday a snow storm blew in! 15 kids came to that Bible club, which is decent for the first time.

A person from the committee that gives the permission to extend our registration came and looked at our building last Wednesday. It was the woman from the tax bureau in our district, with whom I have become acquainted now. It seemed to go well. Now it's wait to hear from them again. The date for the next meeting has not been set, she said.
