Thought For The Week:
"Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends." John 15:14
Prayer For The Church:
Pray for the on-going work of the Church as our midweek activities begin soon after the summer break.
Thank God for his blessing on the summer camps and for answered prayers. Please to pray that God may continue to work in the hearts of the campers.
Pray that we may know that "first love" for Christ and as a church be on fire for Him.
Pray for those of the membership who are teachers as they start a new year with a new class.
Pray for the Lord's help that we may be sensitive to the needs of others in the fellowship in health matters and more practical matters.

General Announcements:
Date for the Diary
Sat 20th Sept We are invited to Free Grace Sidcup for BBQ and preaching for their anniversary as a thank you for our help over the difficulties.
The SE District Fellowship Day for 2008 will take place on Saturday 6th September 2008. The church at Mount Zion, Meopham Green have kindly agreed to host this event this year and are looking forward to welcoming families and friends from other churches in the District to their beautiful part of Kent.
The afternoon will begin at around 2.00pm and there will be two walks around the Meopham area to choose from - one shorter for the less energetic amongst us and one longer for those who are feeling really fit!
Tea will be provided after the walks.
Even if you do not feel able to join one of the walks, do come along for a time of fellowship with family and friends from other churches.
