Thought For The Week:
"It is good to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises to your Name, O Most High.
Psalm 92:1
Prayer For The Church:
Please think about adopting a weekly activity or even one child to particularly pray for and keep up to date with - and let's be expectant in prayer.
Pray for the preparations leading up to Holiday Bible Club, especially those who have lines to learn! and craft activities to prepare for.
Prayer For The Local Area:
Gadebridge is the church on our Prayer Diary for the coming week. The church correspondent writes: "We give thanks for continued encouragement among our young people. Pray for two unchurched teenage lads who have professed faith that they may produce fruit, grow in understanding and be protected from temptation."
Prayer For The Wider Area:

To Every Tribe Ministries (TETM) is a Calvinistic, cross-cultural, church planting ministry. We exist to glorify God by planting evangelical Christian churches in the interior, unevangelized regions of Papua New Guinea and Mexico. A vital part of our mission includes mobilizing and equipping existing churches to reproduce and become missionary sending churches themselves.
My wife and I have been involved in pioneer church planting in these areas for more than 30 years. And we are about to begin our third year of training and launching missionaries to the unreached regions. Our 8 month long missionary training program is called The Center For Pioneer Church Planting (CPCP). And about 40% of our time is actual on-the-job training in Papua New Guinea and the interior of Southern Mexico.
The Lord is providing us with the facilities and a fast growing staff and bold band of new missionaries, for which we are so grateful. The training offered in this program is designed specifically for those interested in pioneer church planting among unreached and least reached people groups. A college degree is not required for entrance into the program. We are looking for people who believe that God is calling them to cross-cultural church planting.
One of the things that make us unique is that we are strongly local church oriented. As a mission agency we don't view ourselves as adversarial with local churches but partners together in the task.
Missionaries to many countries find it impossible to get missionary visas simply as an independent missionary or even through their own local church. Many foreign governments require that visas and work permits be granted through recognized agencies such as TETM.
However, missionaries who go out under TETM remain under the ultimate authority and oversight of their sending congregations - But we assist (and train) both the missionary and the local church in the numerous cross-cultural and logistical issues, such as cross-cultural and theological training; on-field visits and counselling; developing cross-cultural church planting strategies and attending to a myriad of administration details (including the acquisition of needed visas and the handling and receipting of finances).
All of this (and much more) is central to the on-going health, maintenance and survival of the missionary.
