Thought For The Week:
"I will lift up my eyes to the hills - From whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth." Psalm 121:1,2
Prayer For The Church:
Please think about adopting a weekly activity or even one child to particularly pray for and keep up to date with - and let's be expectant in prayer.
Pray for those on holiday this week - Mark & Marilyn, Mark & Debbie, Vanessa and Pete, Simon and Ali.
Pray for the preparations leading up to Holiday Bible Club.
Pray for Joni who has exams on the 17th and 18th
Prayer For The Local Area:
Streatham is the church on our Prayer Diary for the coming week. The church correspondent writes: ‘Praise God for four new members last year. We need a pastoral couple to join us as there is much to be done. Please pray.' We continue to pray for Phil and Rosie Crowter and family. Phil was due to begin chemotherapy today (Friday).
Prayer For The Wider Area:

THE ADJACENT LOT
We have now signed and paid for the adjacent lot with the help of gifts and loans from abroad. We do give much thanks to the Lord for His goodness to us. Please pray with us that this property will be much used for His glory.
The Lord willing we are hoping to start renovating two apartments at the rear of the property to be converted into the church office and offices for use by the elders and the principal of Grace Ministerial Academy. This will mean that the church office can move from the rear of our home and be more accessible to members, students and visitors.
We also give thanks to the Lord for meeting an urgent need. We have used up all our funds here but have to pay the equivalent of £3,350 by the 5th December to pay for documentary stamps or we would be in penalty. Not having that amount of money we were seeking to borrow. Almost the same day we then received an email from dear friends in Australia to say they were sending just over that amount for the Building Fund. This money, the Lord willing will be with us on Monday in time to meet the deadline. The Lord is so good.
GRACE MINISTERIAL ACADEMY
The second semester has now begun and we have several new students.
Pray they may settle down and that the course will prove profitable to them and that they may be diligent. Pray also we may see evidence of a call to the ministry in all our students.
Please pray for the Evening Class on a Friday Evening which is open to anyone who wishes to attend including ladies. Pastor Espinosa is taking them through a two hour lecture each Friday Night on various doctrines. This semester he is teaching the doctrine of the Last Things.
CHRISTIAN COMPASSION MINISTRIES
We are going through quite an upheaval in CCM at the end of the year as four Social Workers will be leaving us at the same time for different reasons. This will be quite a loss to us and we value prayer as we seek those whom the Lord has for us as replacements.
