CALL TO WORSHIP
The Rock that stands forever, Is Christ, my Righteousness!
In Him I stand un-fearing, In everlasting bliss!
Christ is my boast and glory—All wrath for me is o'er;
The judgment of the sinner: It frightens me no more.
There is no condemnation, There is no hell for me!
The torment and the fire—My eyes shall never see!
For me there is no sentence, For me there is no sting,
For Christ, my Lord, who saved me,
Will shield me with His wing!
No angel nor a devil, No danger, fear, nor fight,
No foe, no tribulation, No throne, nor pow'r, nor might,
No height, no depth, no creature, That has been or can be,
Can pluck me from Thy bosom—Can sever me from Thee!
My heart leaps up with gladness—Grief cannot linger there!
Her voice sings high in glory, Bathed in the sunshine fair!
The Fountain of my singing, Is Jesus there above,
The Sun that shines upon me, Is Jesus and His Love!

THE BELIEVER’S WALK
God the Holy Spirit puts saving faith in the heart of every believer. We believe Christ because God has given us the gift of faith. True saving faith in Christ is not only believing a few true doctrinal statements. True saving faith in Christ will direct the believer’s walk through this world below. That is why James said “that faith without works is dead”(James 2:20)
Faith believes that salvation is by God’s grace alone and that faith will make the believer be a gracious person. Faith believes that our sin is forgiven by the blood of Christ’s sacrifice and that faith will lead a person to be forgiving to others. Faith believes that sinners have peace with God through the blood of Christ and that faith will lead a person to “seek peace, and pursue it” (Psalm 34:14) Faith believes that salvation is found in unity with Christ and that faith will seek unity with other believers.
There is no evidence of genuine faith and trust in Christ when our attitudes and conduct are not changed. “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” (James 2:26)

Another Jesus
2 Corinthians 11:4 “ For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.”
There is one Gospel, one Lord Jesus, one Holy Spirit. Yet there are many so called Jesus’s being preached today. So how can we know that the one we believe on is the right one?
The Jesus Christ of the word of God is successful in His work of Redemption. When He cried, “It is finished” it was finished. Nothing else needed to be done, He did it all. Hebrews 1:3 “… when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high…”Hebrews 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. He redeemed everyone for whom He died, they shall be saved.
The Jesus Christ of the word of God is God in human flesh. 1 Timothy 3:16 Being God, He cannot fail. He is the Sovereign Christ. Matthew_11:27 “All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.”
Does He fit the whole word of God from Genesis to Revelation in all His Character and offices? No part can be missing.
Give diligence to know that the one you believe is the right one, for there are many being preached that are imposters.
Pastor John Chapman
It was at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that the First Adam fell. There he plunged his whole race, all whom he represented, into sin and death (Genesis 2:17, 3:6-8; Romans 5:12).
It was at the cursed tree, the tree of the cross that the Last Adam triumphed gloriously. There he redeemed his whole race, all whom he represented, with his own precious blood. He gave them life from the dead. He obtained the forgiveness of their sins and reconciled them to Holy God. By his Spirit the enmity is put away from them and they are adopted into the family of God (Colossians 2:13-15; Ephesians 2:13-16, 1:4-5).
