CALL TO WORSHIP
With harps and with vials there stands a great throng
In the presence of Jesus and sings this new song;
To Him who hath loved us and washed us from sin,
Unto Him be the glory forever! Amen.
All these once were sinners defiled in His sight,
Now arrayed in pure garments their voices unite;
To Him who hath loved us and washed us from sin,
Unto Him be the glory forever! Amen.
He maketh the rebel a priest and a king,
He hath bought us and taught us this new song to sing;
To Him who hath loved us and washed us from sin,
Unto Him be the glory forever! Amen.
How helpless and hopeless we sinners had been
If He had not loved us and washed us from sin;
To Him who hath loved us and washed us from sin,
Unto Him be the glory forever! Amen.
Aloud in His praises our voices shall ring
So that others believing this new song shall sing;
To Him who hath loved us and washed us from sin,
Unto Him be the glory forever! Amen.

OUR NEED OF FAITH
We have many problems, but of all the problems we have, the greatest is a heart problem. Our great problem is a spiritually dead heart. Our natural heart cannot believe the gospel of Christ when we hear it. Our natural heart refuses to believe the gospel of Christ when we hear it. “For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.” (Heb. 4:2)
My constant prayer for you and me is that the Lord would be pleased to give us faith in Christ so that we believe on Him alone. Otherwise we are just going through the motions of religion.

BY THE GRACE OF GOD I AM WHAT I AM – I COR. 15:10
Everything the believer is, is all because of God’s grace. I am elected by grace. (Rom. 11:5) I am saved by grace. (Eph. 2:8) I am justified by grace. (Rom 3:24) I am called by grace. (Gal 1:15) I am kept by God’s power and grace. (I Peter 1:5) Since salvation is by grace alone without any of my works, then salvation is sure and I can rest in Christ no matter what may come. (Rom 4:16)

Matthew 6:34: Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
If a mere man said this we might call him a fatalist. But these are the words of Christ Jesus who is the same yesterday, today and forever. These are the words of God who foreordained and rules everything that comes to pass in our lives. He promised to give each of his saints grace for today. Therefore, he commands us not to be anxious about tomorrow. There is enough evil today, without adding tomorrow’s evil to it. Next time we find ourselves anxiously thinking of all that might, perhaps, maybe come to pass tomorrow, stop and think how much more profitable it would be for us to give all those thoughts to seeking Christ our King and his Righteousness today. Our Savior gives us grace for today. And his grace is sufficient for us this day. When tomorrow comes, the same will be true. Today, seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. He promises that whatever else we need, God shall provide. “The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand” (Is 14: 24). Oh, gracious Lord, give us grace for today!
Pastor Clay Curtis
There are no gray areas in the Gospel. Salvation is all of grace or all of works. There is no in-between. Christ is either All in salvation or He is nothing in salvation. There is no in-between. Man is either completely sinful and unable to save himself, or he is his own savior. There are no gray areas. The Bible is either God’s infallible Word, or the production of fallen man. How we thank God for this! I find the older I get, the more gray other things become. Things I once felt strongly about, I no longer feel so assured! I do not have enough information to make a proper judgment and there are other points of view that have as much validity as mine! How Paul’s words, “We see through a glass darkly” describe my sight! With so much gray, how thankful I am for the black and white of the Gospel!
