Vacation Bible School will be held June 6-8 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. There will be a time of fellowship and food at Camden Park on the evening of June 9. BE NOT WEARY IN WELL DOING
Following Christ is something that takes effort. “Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.” (Luke 13:24) The believer’s relationship with the Savior is not a thing done in the past. It is an ongoing relationship. So never tire of seeking Christ. Never tire of making the effort it takes to come to the Bible classes and the worship services. Never tire of taking time to pray and read God’s Word.
In addition never tire of doing good works. Good works are works done in faith and love for the good of God’s people. Never tire of giving even when others are ungrateful. Never tire of being faithful even when others are not. Never tire of being kind when others are unkind. Never tire of not following the way of the world when it seems like everyone else is. No matter what happens, don’t quit. “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” (Galatians 6:9)

Preachers in this generation are running all around the country telling sinners that “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved,” (Rom. 10:13), which is very true; but they are not preaching Christ, telling sinners who He is and what He accomplished for His people. Then HOW can anyone call upon Him? (Rom. 10:14). Sinners MUST call upon the Lord “in truth” (Psalm 145:18) – who He is, as He is, and where He is. These preachers, at best, are only telling half-truths about the Lord Jesus Christ, and a half-truth presented as the whole truth, is a complete lie! Those who do not preach the glory, majesty and holiness of God (Isa. 6:1-5; John 12:36-41), who do not preach His unconditional election of grace (Eph. 1:2,3; II Thess. 2:13,14; I Pet. 1:2), who do not preach His full and effectual atonement and redemption of His people (Heb. 9:11,12; 10:11- 18; II Cor. 5:18,19), who do not preach His almighty, invincible grace in calling His people out of darkness into His marvelous light (Matt. 1:21; 5:21,25; 11:27), and His purpose and power in the keeping of His people unto eternal glory (Rom. 8:28-39; I Pet. 1:5; Jude 24), are preaching “another Jesus,” “another spirit,” and “another gospel” (II Cor. 11:4), which is not another gospel but a perversion of the only true gospel of salvation (Gal. 1:6-9). These preachers are the cause of there being so “many” who will one day stand before the Lord with a false faith and hope (Matt. 7:13-23). These preachers are the murderers of the souls of men and women and boys and girls.

Election is not the cause of anybody going to hell, for election is unto salvation. (2 Thessalonians 2:13) Neither is non-election responsible for the damnation of sinners. Sin is the thing that sends men to hell, and all men are sinners by nature and practice; sinners altogether apart from election or non-election. It does not follow that because election is unto salvation that non-election is unto damnation. Sin is the damning element in human life, election harms nobody.
