The scriptures make it abundantly clear that salvation is by God’s free grace in Christ. The good news of the gospel is that since salvation is by grace, there is no condition a sinner must meet in order to be saved. The Lord Jesus Christ met every condition required to save His people so that they would have salvation freely.
True Religion
True religion is simple and unassuming, but it is more than a flat, lifeless, one-dimensional plane. True religion is a robust, living, multidimensional, spiritual landscape that flourishes within the heart of every believing sinner. True religion is both doctrinal and devotional—it is possessing spiritual knowledge that moves us to worship the Lord Jesus Christ. True religion is both instructive and inspiring—it teaches us the way of salvation and constrains us to walk in that way by faith alone. True religion involves facts and feelings—it impresses the historic record of the crucified Son of God upon the soul in such a transformative, life-changing way that it irresistibly compels the sinner to sorrow over sin and rejoice in God’s forgiveness. True religion involves both the head and the heart—it not only understands the gospel it loves the gospel. True religion is both seeing and speaking—it sees the glory of God shining in the face of Jesus Christ with the inner, unseen, invisible eyes of the heart and confesses him before men. True religion is both objective and subjective—it believes that God is gracious and experiences that grace in the salvation of the soul.

Thinking About Tomorrow?
Believer how much time and energy do we put into thinking about tomorrow? How much confusion, fear and doubt is caused by our taking thought of what we are going to do, where we are going to be and how we are going to get there? Our Lord Jesus said we cannot add cubit to our statue by thinking about it! Then why do we not believe our Lord who told us “seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” (Matthew 6:33-34) Oh may God give us such grace as to keep us daily seeking only to be found in Christ. (2Peter 1:10) Let us walk by faith not trusting what we see or feel but rather trusting in Christ for all our acceptance with God. (Hebrews 10:38) And surely if God has given us the best gift of His Son, how then will he withhold any of the lesser necessities? (Romans 8:32)
