That would be a good move, Youth in Asia. The WCF is rooted in the Bible and the Presbyterian view of Baptism is right/Biblical.These verses and sermon links below may be helpful: Acts 2: 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. http://www.sermonaudio.com/playpopupvideo.asp?SID=49171655529 http://www.sermonaudio.com/saplayer/playpopup.asp?SID=216121614232 http://www.sermonaudio.com/saplayer/playpopup.asp?SID=221122111168 Youth in Asia wrote: Exactly! If I read Westminster confession, I know what they believe in, and if I am desperate for a church, I visit it, but becoming a member is a No-NO, and I know I have to be careful on their stance on sprinkling and baptizing babies. But at least it's clear what they believe in! |
